…that first bite of foie gras, and then the sip of Sauternes. Mona Harrington awoke to the epiphany that the proper food and wine pairing is not a simple one plus one equation. Bringing the right elements together results in a union greater than the sum of its parts.

Born and raised in Southern California, Chef Mona has spent her entire adult life in the food and wine industry. Professionally, Mona has spent twelve years as a wine educator and Chef Instructor at Le Cordon Bleu, Los Angeles. Her resume includes working in hotels and restaurants throughout Los Angeles in addition to being a private chef for the entertainment industry. A Certified Level II Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers and a Certified Wine Professional recognized by the Culinary Institute of America, she has inspired my budding chefs (professional and leisure) with the concept of "dining squared".
